C# Software Developer

POSITION SUMMARY
The responsibilities of this position are to develop new internal tools and maintain existing business critical tools in a team environment. Participate in a Scrum based environment on projects involving our web and business systems. Succeeding in this role requires a combination of technical skills, time management and communication skills. This position will report to the IT Manager and work with the rest of the development team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
3 – 5 years of experience in software development using C# and the .NET Framework

• Solid technical skills with an understanding of OOP, C#, MVC, SQL Server & MySQL and familiar with WPF, XAML, MVVM, WCF, Entity Framework.
• Experience with Knockout, TypeScript and dependency injection would be a plus
• Working with Azure or similar cloud platform would be a plus

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

Position requires a minimum of 3 years developing software in a professional setting. A college degree is required or equivalent experience. Must be able to work independently and have demonstrated the ability to work cooperatively with end users. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, multi-task, and have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to clearly document concepts in non-technical terms and present to executive management.
