C#.NET Support Developer

Our company is at the forefront of using .NET technology.

We are looking for Application Developers skilled in the Microsoft.NET environment using C# and Object Orientated Programming. Backend Component Development and Web Development in the Microsoft Environment using SQL Server Database.

Minimum 3 – 5 years practical experience

Front-end development experience

Must have knowledge of a 3 tier layer architecture and be able to integrate front-end development with the back-end

Back-end development experience an advantage

Strong XML experience

Strong MS SQL experience (Stored procedures, tables, views)

SOAP / Web Services experience advantage

MUST BE ABLE TO START ASAP

Duties & Responsibilities:
Writing technical and functional specifications.

Liaise with business to ensure written specifications meets the business requirements

Playing an active role in new product design

Identifying possible risks for products

Resource management to ensure products are delivered on time.

Liaise with business to ensure that any issues resulting in late delivery can be addressed and resolved.

Implementing development methodology to ensure ownership is taken by developers and time frames are met.

Resolving problems arising from deployment of software

Checking progress of each project – ensuring that delivery is on schedule.

Revision of code to ensure quality, correctness and industry standards are met

Design of system architecture for products to ensure optimal integration into current systems

Playing active role in development of back-end, business critical systems to ensure correctness and stability

Implementing data cleaning and data mining processes to assist in quick turnaround times for data products

Ensuring web service returns meet industry standards

Assisting developers when time frames are tight to ensure on-time delivery

Assisting in maintenance of current products when and where needed

Designing database architecture where needed
