Front end Web Developer/Designer

As a front-end developer, your main responsibility is for the production, modification and maintenance of our websites/mobisites and web application’s user interfaces.

Collaborate with product management and marketing to implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience

Execute all visual design stages, from concept to final implementation.

Conceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblock

Create wire-frames, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

You’ll also work closely with server-side developers to implement their server-side code in order to develop complex, interactive and database driven websites.

Work in a multifunctional team, and manage time across multiple projects and tasks in a deadline-driven, team environment.

Requirements

Minimum three to five years in a front-end development position

Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud i.e Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, flash.

A solid understanding of responsive design

Excellent design skills, and UI design

Possess an advanced knowledge of web and mobile platforms with a mobile first approach and adhere to principles of progressive enhancement

Design, Develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices.

Excellent HTML, XHTML, CSS programming skills – HTML5/CSS3 experience

Working with JavaScript frameworks to create rich interactive content (experience with JQuery)

Knowledge of Bootstrap

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Experience with WordPress and e-commerce plugins and templates

Personal Skills/Attribute

Results-driven, able to initiate and lead projects; work autonomously and multitask in an agile environment

A positive and proactive approach with good communications skills, attention to detail.

Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.

A genuine passion for finding out about and using the latest Internet technologies to make exciting, interactive web pages.

Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
