Business Line Analytics Intern

As a Business Line Analytics intern, you will provide analytical support for product portfolio decisions and analysis. This includes creating and reviewing financial models, analyzing cost data and forecasts, compiling and analyzing operational data and forecasts, comparing product financial metrics, performing ad-hoc analysis, and creating summary reports. You will work within the Business Line Management group which is part of the Compute and Networking Business Unit. You will also work closely with Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Analyzing product cost data
  • Interpreting and summarizing product financial and operational data
  • Reviewing financial models to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Simplifying data within financial models
  • Performing ad-hoc product timing sensitivity analysis
  • Reviewing product performance and forecasts
  • Compiling financial and operational data
  • Documenting forecast processes
  • Continually seeking ways to improve product analysis

Qualifications

  • Understanding of financial data and metrics
  • Ability to create and interpret P&L statements
  • Interest and aptitude for understanding Micron’s products, business, and business processes
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in Excel and PowerPoint

Education

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field
