Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and determine best practices for all items related to business data governance.
• Develop dashboards and reports (SSAS and Power BI).
• Maintain and monitor the operational integrity and performance of internal SQL databases and reporting ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects within reporting systems.
• Design and standardize user experience across reporting platforms.
• Provide training and documentation for reporting systems.
• Follow defined standards for proper change control management.
• Perform peer code reviews and provide feedback.
• Communicate with business owners to clearly define project requirements.
• May require occasional after-hours on-call support

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• 3+ years of experience developing business reports
• 1 or more years of experience with Microsoft BI development tools, including SSIS, SSAS and Power BI
• Thorough knowledge of relational and dimensional database architecture and SQL
• Understanding of best practices for database design and data warehouse patterns and practices
• Knowledge of Kimball data modeling methods

Beneficial Qualifications and Experience:

• Working knowledge of SharePoint
• Working knowledge of C#

Travel
Occasional travel to international branch offices may be required

Terms of Employment
This is a full-time position.

At this time, we are only considering candidates from the Puget Sound area. (That is, we are not offering relocation packages.)
