Business Intelligence Analyst

The Business Intelligence Analyst will work with subject matter experts in Finance and IT to develop solutions that provide business insights. The solutions may include traditional managed reporting needs as well as data visualization and
interactive dashboards. As such, candidates should be well versed in understanding, recommending and building solutions across the Business Intelligence spectrum. In addition to supporting the BI development for the Finance function, the ideal candidate
will possess experiences in, or skills to support, the promotion and advocacy of self-service Business Intelligence.

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Data Experts to capture analytical requirements.
• Translate requirements into BI solutions that are effective, easy to use and well performing.
• Work closely with internal BI Developers and DBA’s.
• Participate in end user support.
• Create and participate in user training.
• Support ad-hoc requests.
• Promote and support the adoption of self-service BI across the enterprise.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor Degree required.
• Accounting, Finance, MIS, Business Analytics.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.

Experience necessary for effective job performance:

• 5+ years of BI development comprised of Tableau, Qlik and Microsoft BI (including Power Pivot, Power Query and Power BI)
• Understanding and demonstrative experience in effective Data Visualization principles.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a team player with the ability to work collaboratively with all levels within the
  Subway® organization.
