Business Analyst II – Full-time, Immediate Opening

SEACC is a non-profit organization that provides services to low-income people, new immigrants, and small business owners in the San Francisco Bay Area. SEACC is now in its 43rd year of operations. One of our main services is to provide loans and technical assistance to small business owners. We are one of four SBA 7(m) Microloan intermediaries in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area.

We are currently seeking a person to assist with the Microloan program.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Outreach and marketing to identify new small business borrowers
• Assisting prospective borrowers to complete loan applications
• Attendance at small business and commercial networking events
• Follow up work as directed with clients in our portfolio who need assistance
• Assist with the organization of workshops on specific topics of interest to clients
• Arrange and conduct meetings with bank officers and other lenders as directed
• Speak about the program and the loan process at business events as needed

Job Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to solve problems and work independently
• Minimum 3 years of professional work experience, marketing experience a plus
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar software products
• Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred
• Interest in entrepreneurship
• Ability and interest in traveling throughout the Bay Area for meetings and client visits
• Some knowledge of accounting, finance and/or lending is a plus
• Interest in working in a non-profit environment
