Business Analyst

Job Description:
This Business Analyst role within CFO COO is an enterprise role that provides an opportunity to work across multiple organizations and contribute to strategic initiatives that make Bank of America a more efficient and less complex company.

The Business Analyst is responsible for providing business metric and program analysis, report management, and project support at several different levels. The position requires the incumbent to have diverse administrative expertise and to oversee various policies, programs, and initiatives, to be able to think strategically, as well as perform in a proactive manner with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

Analyze Data & Interpret Results

Partner with Line of Business (LOB) finance teams, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) functions, Technology and others on execution of projects

Produce insightful analyses and reporting utilized by Senior Leadership

Work on multiple high priority projects at once; demands intellectual curiosity, flexibility in a changing environment and excellent attention to detail

Enterprise Role Overview

Responsible for the more complex design and support management accounting systems. Examples include cost allocations, funds transfer pricing and equity capital allocation systems. Supports achievement of business goals by working on more complex activities or projects with others within the unit and with partners. Leads projects and coordinates resources. May provide supervision to a small staff. Can manage partner relationships.

Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree

3-5 years for related experience the financial industry

Technical Skills: Advanced PowerPoint, Excel

Business Acumen: Understand the structure of the company and build knowledge about many areas

Communication skills, presentation skills, relationship/business partnering

Execution and Delivery: critical thinking, analytics, organizational skills, attention to detail
