Business Analysis Associate

Job Description

The Business Analysis Associate in Financial Application Support—Business Integration is a team member in the area within Enterprise Services & Financial Systems responsible for business analysis and project management for financial systems interfaces and extracts. The Business Integration team develops strategies and implements solutions to link Prudential’s business systems to the Corporate financial systems. In addition to developing a functional financial systems expertise, the Associate will participate in projects that develop their understanding of Prudential’s key international and domestic businesses.

The ideal candidate would have strong written and oral communication skills, well-developed analytic reasoning and curiosity, and an established track record working in a team-based environment. At a minimum the candidate should have experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to a Manager in the Business Integration team, the Associate will be responsible for supporting business analysis and project management activities as a member of project teams. The Associate will learn the methodologies and tools required to assess and document business requirements, write functional specifications for systems development, and design and conduct testing of the technical solutions.

Key projects anticipated for 2017/2018 include implementation and integration of a new Abandoned Property Operations system, upgrades to the Equity Based Compensation system, and work on interfaces and extracts associated with the Gibraltar Delag project.

In addition to participation in key strategic initiatives, the Associate will participate in smaller business integration projects that will provide opportunities to take more responsibility for leading analytic and project management tasks.

Qualifications

  • College degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Management Information Systems preferred but not required
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft desktop Applications
