Provides operational support for Capital Markets. This role supports the Insitutional Equity and Fixed Income Trading Function within SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Major responsibilities include: Trade Capture, Trade Entry, Allocation, Securities Settlement and Clearance and Client Support. The ideal candidate will have experience with Fixed Income and/or Equity Securities, a solid understanding of Microsoft Office and experience with Bloomberg and/or Fidessa trade entry systems.

Qualifications

• BS/BA College degree
• Knowledge of fixed income and equity instruments in order to identify and resolve trade discrepancies or exceptions.
• Have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Solid understanding of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access Outlook).
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service support in conjunction with high level written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, time sensitive, multi-tasked operations environment, with the ability to take on a lead role.
• Assuming additional duties as required by management

• Series 7 or 99
• Understanding of Broker Dealer operational processes and systems.
• Experience with Bloomberg and Fidessa trade entry systems.
