Bookkeeper (part-time)

Reinsurance Intermediary and Underwriting company focused on Latin America and the Caribbean, located in Coral Gables, FL is looking for a part time Bookkeeper for 25 to 30 hours per month.

We are seeking a bookkeeper with previous public accounting experience. Candidate should have a strong working knowledge of accounting and QuickBooks and fluent in Spanish.

Our ideal candidate will have:

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Positive, team orientated approach. Adhere to highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality. Aptitude for excellent client service. Must have previous Quickbooks experience. Bachelors or Associate degree in Business/Accounting preferred. Fluent in Spanish Language.

Duties include:

• Reinsurance Accounts Payable/Receivable
• General Ledger maintenance
• Reconciling Reinsurance Accounts and Bank Accounts; Trial Balances
• Assisting to compile “Group” financial information for consolidation information
• Assisting in the implementation and migration of Reinsurance Accounts from a specialty reinsurance accounting/administration system to QuickBooks.
