Position: Entry-Level Bookkeeper (AP/AR)

Location: Maple Grove, MN

Are you a confident and clear communicator who loves numbers, reconciling, spreadsheets and all things accounting? If so, then we may have the job for you!

As a Bookkeeper (AP/AR) you ll be responsible for preparing recording, verification, analyzing and reporting of accounts receivable/payable transactions, and posting of customer payments. Maintaining and reconciling accounts, financial statements and reports. And provide a variety of credit and collection functions.

The most important qualifications for this position is that you are familiar with accounting concepts, are comfortable with collections (or willing to learn) and are eager to learn and have a positive attitude. We value the process of learning from one another, asking questions and facing adversity with a positive attitude. In addition to intangibles like these, we d also prefer candidates with the following qualifications/skill sets:

High School diploma or equivalent

Associate degree in Accounting a plus

Minimum of one year of previous bookkeeping, accounting and/or financial experience preferred

Strong attention to detail

Solid math skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

High level of organization and time management skills

Strengths in leadership and problem solving

Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize

Flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented and self-motivated

Experience with Apple Technology (Mac Computer, Numbers, Pages preferred)
