Bookkeeper

We are looking for a Bookkeeperto support the restaurant’s accounting operations. This position will work closely with the Controller to accurately record the day-to-day financial transactions of the company. Overview of Responsibilities:

• Complete daily sales report
• Manage accounts payable processes
• Maintain petty cash and in-house cash drawers
• Process weekly employee payroll
• Prepare checks, payments and bank deposits
• Maintain complete filing system for financial records
• Respond to guest requests for chargebacks and receipts
• Acts as a point of contact for employees
• Manage employee PTO records
• Welcome new employees and assist with new hire paperwork
• Process employee action forms

Requirements for Success:

• Strong computer and business solutions software skills
• Experience in restaurant bookkeeping/accounting strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Acute attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to show discretion in regard to confidential information
