JOB SUMMARY: Media Vision is an award-winning, fast-growing company with 9 offices across North America and Europe. We are a leading provider of conferencing microphones and language interpretation equipment. We work with audiovisual systems integrators and consultants to design conferencing solutions that improve audio intelligibility in meeting environments. Our solutions can be seen installed in high-end boardrooms, government assembly rooms, university auditoriums, and prestigious international conference centers worldwide.

We are seeking a reliable Bookkeeper/Accountant for our New York office with a solid history in financial management. We are looking for the right person to manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, financial management and banking transactions on a day to day basis. The successful candidate will be detail oriented with a natural ability to provide real-time solutions for our financial team. This role will perform accounting related and clerical support for daily financial and general ledger transactions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly financial reconciliations
  • Process daily/monthly financial transactions‐ accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Prepare bank deposits and credit card applications
  • Create PO’s and invoices
  • Prepare various financial and statistical reports as necessary
  • Process Credit Applications
  • Process payroll and commission transactions
  • Other accounting and bookkeeping activities and duties as assigned workers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
  • 2-3 years Bookkeeping and Financial Management experience
  • 2-3 years’ experience using Netsuite as a Financial management tool
  • Consistent attention to detail, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Proficient with MS Office and experience using CRM software
  • Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations professionally
  • Payroll experience a plus
  • French speaking a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
