BLAST BUCKHEAD— Fitness Class Assistant

Job Description: As a BLAST Fitness Class Assistant, you will be an integral part of the studio team. Your main responsibility is to ensure that each and every client has the best experience possible while they are in the studio. BLAST is unique in that it has an Assistant as well as an instructor for all of our classes. You must be able to stay organized and communicate with the team to ensure everyone stays prompt, motivated, and completes their job tasks.The Assistant’s job begins with setting up the room for the day (turning treadmills on, placing our provided water and towel on each treadmill, and setting the equipment at each station). During class, the Assistant and the instructor work dynamically to make the class run seamlessly. The Assistant fills waters, tends to clients who need heavier/lighter weights, maintains station tidiness, and serves as a source of energy and motivation. The Assistant is a major differentiator and is unique to BLAST.

Schedule: As a high volume fitness studio, BLAST offers classes from 5 AM-9 PM, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Open availability and flexibility are a must, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent customer service experiences
• Set up, take down and maintain equipment in the studio
• Maintain studio facility tidiness and cleanliness
• Communicate with staff, instructors and managers
• Motivate clients during classes and create a high energy environment
• Promote company culture

Skills/Experience:

• Education specializing in fitness/management preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Outgoing personalities are a must
• Time management

• Well-spoken and mannered
