Backend Engineer

• Collaborate with business and front-end teams to shape ideas into usable applications
• Design, implement, test and deliver features
• Support and improve existing Python code base and processes

Requirements

• Experienced in writing readable, stable, modular, testable and sustainable code
• History of working individually and as a team member on systems made up of complex, interconnected software services
• BS in Computer Science or comparable experience
• Fluency in Python, SQL
• Familiarity with web application frameworks like Django
• Familiarity with lower level systems, i.e. operating systems, database servers and networking protocols
• Driven by experimentation and collaboration
