Position Description: Audit Intern

As a key member of the Audit department, you will be part of AgriBank’s mission to support the people who feed the world. As an intern on this team, you will be broadly exposed to all facets of AgriBank and have the opportunity to work with various teams across the organization. You will obtain experience in testing AgriBank’s Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) controls, including testing accuracy of spreadsheets and reports used in the financial reporting process. Through this process, you will review current ICFR flowcharts and risk control matrices to determine what testing documents are needed, obtain documents from process owners and review them to validate compliance with ICFR controls and assist in creating report of testing results for use in risk management. The position will commence at the beginning of June, finish near the end of August, with flexibility in the start and finish dates. Incumbent would have the potential to work up to 40 hours per week with flexibility throughout the duration of the internship. Join us today!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidate should be a sophomore or junior in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance related field
  • Position requires strong detail orientation and proficient skills in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work with multiple individuals throughout an organization
  • Skill in analyzing data and information to formulate logical and objective conclusions
