Summary:

Installation and repair of Audio/Video lines and equipment

Role and Responsibilities

• Review and complete work orders to move, change, install, repair, or remove A/V equipment such as cabling, wires, CCTV, audio systems, DVR’s, and digital signage
• Read technical manuals to learn correct settings for equipment
• Measure, cut, and install wires and cables
• Disassemble equipment and inspects and tests wiring to locate and repair problem
• Modify equipment in accordance with user request
• Test communication lines and Audio/Visual equipment to ensure that specifications are met
• Utilize various testers to ensure equipment functions properly.
• Plan layout and installation of Audio/Visual equipment
• Demonstrate use of equipment
• Display Knowledge of Audio Video equipment: Extron, Crestron, AMX, Audio DSP’s, LED Video wall control, Audio/Video Distribution amplifiers, Video switchers, extenders

Requirements

• Experience in the A/V technical field (3-5 years’ experience)
• Experience with Apple OS, IOS, tvOS a plus.
• Experience and understanding of signal flow as it relates to Audio/Visual source to destination.
• Travelling required – some overnights
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and overtime
• Must maintain a valid Driver’s License
• Driving Record must be incident free for last 3 years
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Able to sit, stand, kneel and/or walk for long periods of time
