You
will be a member of the R&D Software Development team, developing software
for Medtronic’s HI&M Division, specializing in Applications on Health
Informatics and Monitoring. You will on an Agile development team.

A Day in the Life

This engineer will work as an associate
software engineer to define product specifications and perform design and
development activities. Additionally, this
engineer will participate in software testing, documentation and maintenance for
Health Informatics product software.

We care about mentoring our developers.
We pair program, perform code reviews on every commit, and have several forums
for knowledge sharing. We actively invest in the growth of our Engineers.

Responsibilities
Include:

  • Assist in the design and development of key
    technical components for the product software.
  • Write clean, logical, high-quality code.
  • Support the lead developer with development and
    testing.
  • Help resolve errors and issues with the existing
    code base.
  • Participate in software design and code reviews.
  • Perform hardware/software integration and testing.
  • Attend and contribute to scrum, standups, and
    planning and retrospect meetings.
  • Must be a team player with willingness to learn
    and grow.

Must Have: Minimum Qualifications

  • BS Degree in
    Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Bioinformatics
  • Basic
    knowledge in C# / .Net
  • Basic
    knowledge in HTML 5, Jason, and jQuery
  • Basic
    knowledge in Microsoft MVC 4.5 or higher
  • Basic
    knowledge in SOAP and REST Web Service Development.
  • Basic
    knowledge in Java
  • Basic
    knowledge in SQL Server T-SQL.

Nice to Have

  • Jscript UI
    Framework experience such as knockout or Angular
  • Basic
    knowledge in Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, zig bee and other network protocols.
  • Basic
    knowledge in mobile application development with Android and Java or IPhone and
    Objective C/Swift.
  • Basic
    knowledge of install shield or other installation software.
  • ANSI C and
    C++ experience
  • MVVM
    experience
  • Android
    Development
  • Basic
    knowledge of continuous build tools
