Our Opportunity:
The Advisor Services Technology team is responsible for building applications for financial advisors. These solutions are essential to the success of the investment advisor and offer features such as client relationship management, portfolio accounting, trading, data integration, reporting and much more.

What you’ll do:
As a member of the Advisor Services Technology team, you will be immersed in a collaborative, innovative, and technically challenging environment. We’re looking for leaders who are enthusiastic about learning new and existing technologies in order to provide exceptional software solutions. The role will require a high level or responsibility but have a support structure necessary for development growth. Strong work ethic, design and development skills, strong problem solving and the ability to partner with business and technologists across the organization is required.

What you have:
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or a related field · Proficiency in one or more object oriented languages such as Java, C# or C++ · Strong Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, object-oriented design, algorithm design and problem solving · Coursework and/or experience in database principles, such as SQL, Oracle, MongoDB or Hadoop · Coursework and/or experience in user interfaces, such as HTML5, CSS and Javascript · Knowledge of the software development lifecycle · A yearning to understand and leverage new tools and technologies · A yearning to leverage technology to build products that “wow” users Preferred Skills: · Coursework and/or experience working with distributed systems · Coursework and/or experience building cloud ready applications in Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS or similar cloud infrastructure · Familiar with REST services
