The Associate Project Manager works under the guidance and mentorship of more senior project managers to manage simple, low-risk projects, ensuring there is a focal point for project planning and implementation. Is gaining knowledge in employing project management discipline to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control Information Systems project activities, to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed timeframe and funding parameters. Assists with defining project strategies which are consistent with Essentia strategy, Policies & Procedures, mission, vision and goals. Evaluates completed projects in comparison to cost/time projections and conducts Lessons Learned process in order to identify opportunities for improvement. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers and others.

QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)

Education and/or year’s experience required:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Information Services, Business, Healthcare or related field.

Relevant project or IS support work, with project lead experience

OR

•5 or more year’s experience managing projects in Information Services, Business, Healthcare or related field.
