Associate Developer – Entry Level

Responsibilities:

Demonstrates ability to learn and apply basic features and functions of systems, processes, technology standards, and methodologies relevant to day-to-day responsibilities

Demonstrates understanding of problem escalation procedures

Develops detailed module technical specifications for basic application components

Codes simple application components based on design specifications, while adhering to defined programming standards, structured coding techniques and development methodologies

Performs simple to complex maintenance and problem resolution for a component or element of an application

Qualifications:

Associates degree and 0- 2 years experience; Bachelors degree preferred

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Knowledge (education) in website development and architect design
• Self-starter that can work well with others in a fast-paced environment
• High energy with the ability to multi-task and deliver results on assigned tasks
• Eagerness to learn new skills & technologies as well as to apply what you already know
• Confidence to interact with colleagues and customers and to express and share your opinions
• Experience with the use of Microsoft Office suite applications

Nice to have:

• Oracle Database, Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL Server
• Familiarity with Cloud-based solutions
• JavaScript
• XML
• C#
• JSON
• SharePoint 2013 and/or SharePoint O365 on-line
• Programming experience of any kind is a plus
