Associate Application Engineer

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Configure and Administer CallidusCloud SaaS Solutions:
  • Commissions Service
  • Producer Manager
  • Onboarding Service
• Deliver the right results on initiatives in a timely and effective manner
• Testing and Validation of System Configuration
• Ongoing Release Maintenance
  • Test Vendor SaaS Releases/Upgrades in order to validate existing system functionality works as expected
  • Reviewing Release Notes to identify and configure system enhancements to improve business processes
• QA Skillset – Test Data Set-Up, Test Case Design and Development, Data Mining
• Support QA Activities in end-to-end testing
• Write Basic to Complex Queries using SQL and/or PL/SQL
• Build and Maintain System Workspaces within the Agent Administration solution Producer Manager
• Experience working in the Agile Framework (scrum)
• Participate in projects to build and improve emerging business systems and processes, primarily utilizing the Agile project methodology
• Identify, Design, Build, Test, and Implement basic system functionality through system configuration to meet business partner needs
• Estimate technical effort for small initiatives
• Working with our business partners to gather requirements and feedback in order to deliver value
• Resolve Technical Issues escalated by operations team
• Collaborate across the scrum teams within the emerging business area to resolve issues and deliver enhancements
• Work under the direction of other Application Engineers in order to deliver value to our business partners in the agency administration and commissions area

Required Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, business, mathematics or related field
• Typically less than 3 years of applicable experience
• Demonstrated leadership on small-mid scale projects impacting strategic priorities

• QA Testing Knowledge
• Understanding of Data Structures
• Experience working in the Agile Framework (Scrum)
• Commissions, and/or Agency/Broker/Dealer Knowledge/Experience a plus
• Experience with SQL, Java, Groovy, Oracle Database and Spring Tool Suite
