PIER 33 – Assistant Marketing & Sales Manager

Essential Job Functions:

• Help develop, organize and execute parties, promotions and events
• Assist with social media page management
• Research market trends and potential external marketing opportunities in the Greater Charlotte area
• Participate in local store sales & marketing efforts to include but not limited to: Hotel Concierge Relationships, Company of the Month Program, Charity partnerships, etc.
• Manage team of Interns to organize marketing plan and drive sales.

Requirements:

• Organized, with keen attention for detail
• Team player who isn’t afraid of taking initiative
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Personable, fun and upbeat character is a must!
• Flexible availability

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS : **This job requires the ability to perform the following:

• Handling, carrying or pushing items weighing as much as 50 pounds (ice, carts, boxes, bottles, etc)
• Standing and moving about the work areas
• Communication skills are necessary when interacting with guests and supervisor
