Assistant Controller

Kendall Auto Group is accepting applications for an Assistant Controller.

Kendall Management Group LLC provides executive services to Kendall Automotive Group LLC, Kendall Development Group LLC, NAFCO Finance and Budget Rent a Car of Alaska. Kendall Automotive Group operates as a consolidated group of franchised auto dealerships located in Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska selling and servicing new Ford, Honda, Acura, GMC, Buick, Lexus, Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, Chevrolet, Cadillac, Subaru, Toyota, Mercedes, Volkswagen, BMW, Porsche, Audi and Kia automobiles. Kendall Development LLC operates varies related entities that primarily own dealership real estate. NAFCO Finance is a finance company that offers financing to related dealership customers. Budget Rent a Car of Alaska operates rental vehicle operations at four major airports in Alaska. The Kendall Group of companies currently employs close to 2,000 employees.

This position will be responsible for all full cycle accounting the finance company, and all automotive dealership fixed asset accounting and related property taxes (25 locations), assistance with quarterly and year-end consolidations and tax schedules and various other general accounting functions. The position will report directly to the KMG Controller.

Work Qualifications:

• Experience with full cycle accounting
• Understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP
• 2 or more years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
• Excellent proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and Accounting Systems
• Excellent Communication Skills

Education Qualifications:

• A minimum of a BS or BA in Accounting
• Certified Public Accounting (CPA) credentials or equivalent a plus
