The New York State Office of the Attorney General’s (OAG) Taxpayer Protection Bureau, based primarily in
New York City, is seeking an experienced litigator to lead and pursue complex civil fraud investigations and
litigation, utilizing the New York State False Claims Act and other laws. Cases focus on claims of fraud that
victimize the state and local governments, including fraud in procurement programs, taxes, and grant
programs. Our investigations regularly involve coordination with other state and federal agencies and with
whistleblowers.

Applicants should have substantial experience in the area of civil fraud and white collar investigations, as well
as litigation in state and federal courts. Experience with criminal and/or tax matters is a plus.

Candidates must possess excellent analytical, writing, research and organizational skills and a minimum of
three (3) years of practical experience.

Applicants must reside in (or intend to soon become a resident of) New York State and be admitted to practice
law in New York State. In addition, the Public Officers Law requires that attorneys in the Office be citizens of
the United States. A two (2) year commitment upon being hired is a condition of employment.
