Architect-Bus Intelligence-Multi Levels – 967218

Duties include:

• Support the technology infrastructure (Teradata data warehouse / BOE platform)
• Perform various Business Intelligence roles (developer, business analyst, data modeler, database administrator, project manager) in a dynamic, customer-driven environment
• Fully leverage the technology supported by the team to meet business goals
• Expected to work independently, be a team player, and manage small to medium sized projects
• Participates in a 24 X 7 on-call rotation with team members
• Some travel may be required within SCANA’s service territory

Required:

• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Highly technical and possess the ability to provide a superior level of customer service
• Ability to listen to the customer’s needs and translate needs into system requirements
• Motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to quickly understand and resolve difficult issues
• Must have demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills
• Basic understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts
• Basic knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language)

Preferred:

• Experience with developing reports and database connectivity
• Experience with Teradata data warehouse, JCL, DB2, project management
• Experience with BI tools (Crystal, WEBI, Universes, etc.)
• Experience with Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) development (SAP Data Services or similar GUI-based ETL Tool)
• Experience with data modeling (logical and physical) (ERwin)
• Knowledge of Customer Information Systems is a plus

Qualifications

BI Architect II – Must have a bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years of job related experience or a High School diploma accredited by an organization that is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or one of the entities recognized by the U. S. Dept. of Education or GED and 8 or more years of job related experience or currently enrolled in a computer related curriculum and at least 6 months practical experience as a co-op or intern with SCANA.

BI Architect III and IV – Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of job related experience or an associate’s degree and 6 or more years of job related experience or High School Diploma and 10 or more years of job related experience or successful completion of a computer related curriculum and at least 3 years practical experience at SCANA with part of the 3 years working as a co-op or intern for IST.

BI Architect V – Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of job related experience.
