Job Description

Within the Risk, Fraud, and Reconcilement Systems group in Consumer Lending Technology (CLT), this mid-level developer position will be responsible for supporting in-house and vendor developed distributed applications on the Deposit Fraud Analysis and Review team. These applications assist with fraud detection and mitigation. This position involves all aspects of the systems development life cycle, with the candidate responsible for the design, documentation, coding, testing, and implementation tasks necessary to extend the functionality of existing systems.

Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Providing development, troubleshooting, and technical support for Windows based applications
  • Installing, uninstalling, and providing scripting for third party vendor software products
  • Participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Designing and developing complex programs to satisfy business requirements
  • Creating test plans, preparing test data, and executing test scripts
  • Ensuring quality, security, and compliance requirements are satisfied
  • Identifying and remediating application vulnerabilities
  • Analyzing changes to determine impacts to supported applications and environment
  • Developing new documentation, departmental technical procedures, and user guide
  • Participating in testing and updating the business continuity plan
  • Effectively communicating with internal and external teams to address requirements and troubleshoot complex issues
  • Supporting needs of business partners
  • Ensuring lab servers and workstations are maintained (i.e., built and patched correctly)
  • Using vendor specifications to document install and uninstall instructions for supported products
  • Working in a team environment

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 3+ years of VB.NET experience
  • 3+ years of distributed servers platform experience
  • 1+ year of database experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Knowledge and understanding of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) in a large environment
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Java experience

Other Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years of C#.NET experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Wells Fargo TFS (Team Foundation Server)
  • 1+ year of database experience (SQL Server or DB2)
  • 3+ years of experience with Windows O/S, including PowerShell and command file scripting
  • Demonstrated experience with software testing
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs
  • 2+ years of mainframe experience, including COBOL, JCL and CA7
  • Linux/Unix experience
  • Java scripting experience
  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud environment
  • Familiarity with Connect: Direct
