Applications Developer (Level II)

VariQ Corporation is looking for a skilled Java EE and Oracle WebCenter developer for an 8 month (with potential for extensions) engagement at the United States Coast Guard client location in Elizabeth City, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, and implements software and applications.
• Troubleshoots production problems related to applications.
• Develops major enhancements to existing software and evaluates effectiveness.
• Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms between online applications. Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements. Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
• Participates in development of software user manuals and technical reports.
• Performs automated builds and deployment scripts, integrates data sources, and provides architectural and code design improvements.

Qualifications:
Required Skills :

• 3+ years developing web applications using oracle middleware stack (Application Development Framework (ADF) 11g, Remote Intradoc Client (RIDC), WebCenter Suite)
• Essential Skills : Java EE, Oracle ADF 11g, Oracle SQL for 11g and 12c and Oracle ADF Business Components
• Language Proficiencies : HyperText Markup Language (HTML), Structured Query Language (SQL), Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), Java, Java Server Faces (JSF), Java Server Faces Fragments (JSFF), ADF Faces, Javascript, Jquery

Desired Skills:

• Oracle WebCenter Portal and WebCenter Content with specific experience in creating Webcenter Content workflows
• Oracle WebCenter Content 11g,
