Senior Web Developer

We are looking for a Senior Web Developer to join our Winston-Salem Interactive Creative team.

In this role you will own the Front End experience and work closely with our UX and Creative teams to bring to life their concepts while understanding the impact on the back end CMS or E-Commerce platform. You excel at creating amazing experiences with front end HTML frameworks, JavaScript frameworks and clean CSS with Sass or Less. Your code is lean, mean and clean. It’s also well written and optimized to perform at scale.

While not your core skill set, you’re comfortable with an Object Oriented scripting language such as PHP, Ruby or NodeJs and have dabbled in WordPress. You also have the ability to work within the limiations of Adobe AEM/CQ5 CMS or similar enterprise level CMS and understand how to edit templates or create new ones from your existing HTML code.

Requirements:

– 3-5 years experience building highly-scalable interactive web applications (CMS based preferred)

– Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5 & CSS3.

– Knowledge of JavaScript Frameworks i.e. Bootstrap, Angular

– Experience working in a test-driven development environment

– Familiar with Agile web development in a dynamic fast paced environment

Qualifications:

– Bachelor of Science Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience

– Thorough understanding of Object Oriented Programming

– Experience working with dynamic database driven websites using a CMS or E-Commerce platform
