GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
The primary focus of this position will be to provide development and maintenance support for AQUA’s CIS and other business applications/solutions. This position will also provide planning, design, and development support in areas utilizing Oracle database and Oracle forms, .Net Framework and ongoing customer support of various applications on both UNIX and Windows platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Provide support in the planning, fact-finding, design, prototyping, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of business application systems.

Provides input to DBA resources in the design and maintenance of application system databases.

Adhere to the team’s coding standards and guidelines.

Document user manuals and program descriptions to reflect systems and program changes.

Provide references by writing documentation, including process/data flows and technical specification documents

Develop solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow and efficient solutions.

Validate results by unit testing programs and providing testing documentation.

Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations.

Work with team and other team members to trouble shoot and resolve day-to-day issues on supported applications.

Provide scheduled week night/ weekend development support during code releases and month-end processing.

Provide interim reports to IS Management on status of current tasks and projects.

Required Experience

SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL OR REGISTRATION QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related business field.

At least 5 years working experience in application development using various programming language, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Oracle Databases (Oracle 10g/11i) in UNIX environment.

At least 5 years working experience in COBOL, Pro*C and Unix Shell programming

At least 5 years working experience in application development on Windows environment (Windows Server 2012R2) utilizing .Net Framework (4.5 Framework, ASP .NET 4.0, IIS 8.5, Visual Studio 2012/2013) and SQL Server databases (SQL Server 2014).

Experience working with SCT Banner CIS 3.X a major plus but not required.

Must have good communication and organization skills.

Must be detailed oriented.

Must be self-motivated and a team player.
