Application Developer Analyst I

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an Application Developer Analyst I to join Enterprise Systems, a unit within UFIT.

UFIT is looking for a self-motivated and eager learner with excellent oral and written communication skills who is adaptable to a changing work environment and requirements to assess and provide technical solutions to meet the needs of business users.

You will be responsible for the development and testing of new code, document solutions and deploy builds. You will perform enhancements and help maintain existing applications. You must have excellent communication skills, keep current with the latest trends in application development and have a history of producing quality work. Qualified candidates will have working experience with one or more programming languages, SQL, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and mobile application development.

Enterprise Systems, a division of UFIT, maintains and operates the software that powers UF’s enterprise-wide computer systems creating the technological foundation for the campus’ academic and administrative business functions.

This is a time limited position.

Advertised Salary:

$49,000-59,000 commensurate based on experience and education.

Minimum Requirements:

To qualify, the applicant must have completed a Bachelor’s degree and have one year of relevant experience.

Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience , but does negate the minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

EDUCATION & TRAINING

· Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant field.

EXPERIENCE

· 1 year of experience in one or more of the following:

o Software Development

o Systems Analysis

• 1 year of experience, or more, in the following is preferred:
