Apple Hardware Computer Repair Technician

Requirements:

• Must have A+ certification and 1 – 3 years working in IT field.
• ACMT certification preferred.
• High School diploma required. Associates degree, Bachelor degree or Military experience preferred.

Duties

Work assignments:

• Report directly to the Sales Manager who will assign all repairs and general duties.
• Verify upcoming queue on a weekly basis.

Repair Assets for Resale:

• Repair Assets for resale.
• Repair iPads for resale.
• Update inventory database with the relevant repairs performed on units.
• Create excel spreadsheets with repaired assets as needed.
• Secure the hard drives, SSDs and storage devices removed from assets daily, and adhere to the company internal data security policies.
• Record full specifications for each unit in the inventory management system and keep a physical copy of the specs with each device.
• Keep track of tools and keep and organized workspace.
• Enter each repair into inventory management system.
• Complete quality control checklist for each repair.
• Physically clean repaired units so they are ready for retail or bulk sales.

General responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve functional and technical requests using available resources or deep analytical skills. Exercise discretion and independent judgment to resolve issues as quickly as possible
• Maintain organized parts storage area.
• Greet walk-in customers as needed.
• Operate in a professional manner at all times.
• Data security and data integrity are paramount to our organization, so when in doubt always ask.

Compensation : $17.00/hour, 40 hours per week. Vacation, sick day and healthcare benefits will begin to accrue after the standard 90 day probationary period.
