Angular 2 / TypeScript Developer

The Angular 2 /TypeScript Developer (Front-End Associate Software Developer) is a member of a cross-functional team responsible for enhancing the Company’s “G3” Electronic Health Records application and all associated programs. The Front-End Software Developer will review requirements and specifications, and implement software accordingly.

Job Requirements

• Develop work estimates as part of Scrum planning
• Write clean, modular web-based SaaS applications in an agile and ever changing environment
• Debug, and refactor existing applications and software modules as required
• Quickly respond to critical support issues
• Work with the Software Architect to understand coding standards and architectural practices
• Interact with other technical staff such as IT, quality assurance, and technical writers as needed
• Assist Sr. Developers with other tasks as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Working knowledge and experience with experience with Bootstrap, AngularJS required
• Fully versed in HTML5 and CSS3 web page design
• Familiarity writing tests for modern UI & Javascript testing tools such as PhantomJS, KarmaRunner or equivalent
• Basic understanding of relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB). Experience working with NoSQL DBs such as MongoDB a plus
• Highly experienced consuming and caching all manner of SOAP or RESTful web services. Experience exposing data in an API a plus
• Able and excited to learn new technologies
• Must work well independently as well as in a team environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of progressive programming / development experience working on major technical software projects for client/server systems
• Working knowledge and experience with experience with Bootstrap, AngularJS required
• Fully versed in HTML5 and CSS3 web page design

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge and experience with object oriented design concepts and experience writing modular, OO applications with a C-style language (C#, Java)
