Integral support role working closely with the Manager of Debt and Real Estate, Treasury Manager and Capital Planning Program Manager. Provide analytical support in conjunction with the University’s Capital Planning process, Infrastructure Funding Plan, Debt Compliance, Real Estate portfolio and Treasury projects. Serve as a team member supporting special projects as undertaken by Treasury Services. Assist in the preparation of written presentations. Communicate with internal and external constituents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Collect, analyze, organize and report data concerning the 350+ properties owned by the University. Maintain database of property owned beyond campus borders. Prepare monthly analysis of rental property financial performance for review by Manager, Debt & Real Estate and Sr. Director of Treasury Services.

Provide analytical support to Capital Planning Program Manager and Manager, Debt & Real Estate related to assembling the information required for the Infrastructure Funding Plan, University Capital Plan, and Project spending and funding review. Assist with annual compliance as it relates to debt and rating agency reporting

Working with the Treasury Manager and Cash Analyst, implement and document processes and procedures for cash collection. Collect, organize and analyze data used in Treasury/Cash reporting and forecasting.

Assist in various ad hoc analyses as required, including tasks such as financial market research, financial product research, reports to University leaders and Board of Trustees, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a business related field

Team player with ability to interact with professionals at various levels, inside and outside the University

Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; aptitude for graphs, summary narratives, and presentations

Aptitude to understand and analyze financing structures, cash flow models, and financial statements

Ability to efficiently analyze data to identify opportunities, with mathematical reasoning and problem solving acumen

Capacity to work efficiently, within designated aggressive timelines

Capability to create presentation-ready work product for multiple managers

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Well organized and detail-oriented

Maintain confidentiality with high degree of professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

Finance or Accounting background preferred.
