Business Overview:

The objective of this role is to handle the entire generic flow for data collection, enrichment, storage, maintenance and automated input into PFS core system, Advent Geneva, Operations are undertaken line with global Trade Operations plans and budget and in accordance with the Regional Head of Trade Operations & Operations Team, in order to optimally support the transaction accounting department in providing fund administration services to clients.

This role a technically strong, bright and ambitious individual who has a proven history of building valuable relationships and working in team environment, operationally focused and detailed orientated. 1 – 4 years of experience in fund administration and IT processes. An understanding of basic accounting principles (portfolios, trial balances and effects of different types of transactions). Basic understanding of Market referential data and securities.

To ensure global coverage (EMEA/APAC) and provide daily deliverables the shift will be flexible, therefore qualified candidates will have flexible availability between 11:00am –8:00pm ET, pending the workload.

Responsibilities:

Corporate Actions
Collect, analyze and load corporate action information, dividends, stock splits and other relevant data into the core PFS systems (Geneva & PFL) in a timely and responsible manner according to global data management procedures, in order to contribute to the automated production of NAV’s.

Data Collection
Collect, and save trade information, position files, pricing, corporate actions & accounting statements and other relevant data into core PFS systems (Geneva / PFL) according to standard data management processes and procedures, in order to contribute to the automated production of NAV’s.

Trade interfacing
Collect, analyze, validate and load trade information into data management system in a timely and responsible manner and according to standard data management procedures, in order to contribute to the automated production of NAV’s.

Automated Reconciliation process execution
Collect, analyze and load cash, position and transaction information into Viteos’ Recon Redux System (Redux) and automatically produce a report to indicate differences on the basis of comparison of the data in the system with external sources & references and inform transaction accounting, for onward resolution of differences.

Helpdesk

Answer questions of internal clients in consultation of the Regional Head of Trade Operations and where necessary, in co-operation with IT and Business Information Management, in order to timely and correctly manage data management issues

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Finance, Accounting, or financial services related degree
  • 1+ years of Securities and Hedge Fund product experience
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft excel (inclusive of macro knowledge)

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the mechanics of market referential data and securities
  • Possess strong administrative , organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Possess strong attention to detail
  • Possess strong analytical skills & self-motivated
  • Possess excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills
  • Understanding of basic SQL formulas/XSLT?XML
  • Bloomberg query and data retrieval
  • Basic product knowledge of OTC’s and ABS
  • Quick learner with a positive attitude, able to work efficiently under pressure while meeting deadlines
