Analyst – Global Procurement Systems

Reporting directly to the Manager of Global Procurement Processes & Systems, the Analyst – Global Procurement Systems is responsible for supporting a variety of Global Procurement and Supply Chain applications including SAP, SRM, procurement portal, supplier registration, e-sourcing, document management, performance reporting, electronic communication interfaces (EDI/XML) and any other related data collection/reporting systems. Additional responsibilities include implementation of global policies within procurement systems, performance reporting, continuous improvement initiatives, system user training, system issue diagnosis and resolution and other projects. Strong communication skills will be essential, as will having the ability to work alone or part of a team.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Responsible for procurement system user training, issue diagnosis and resolution for all Kohler businesses.
  • Responsible for identifying process & systems improvement solutions for the purchasing function, integrating global best practice & streamlining processes.
  • Work collaboratively with analysts, buyers, functional areas and management on specific projects and new technology implementations as needed.
  • Lead other ad hoc projects on a local, regional or global basis in a timely and professional manner.
  • Some travel will be required from time to time as needed for training projects.

Skills/Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain or related field, or the combination of education, training and/or experience is required.
  • At least 1 year of work experience in data mining and systems issue diagnosis is required, proven skills in problem solving / troubleshooting preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of PC operating systems and procurement/general business processes and applications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products like Word, advanced Excel, Access, Outlook and Data Warehouse.
  • Strong verbal and written skills are required.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests is required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SAP & SRM is preferred.
  • Basic project management experience is preferred.
  • Basic change management experience is preferred.
