We are looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented web developers to innovate in building the websites used by skill developer to test, manage testing, and simulate all of Alexa’s products. Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of key system features
• Will work with other team members and PM, TPM, and UX groups to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility.
• Will work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules.
• Will develop scalable components, code, and approaches to ensure our websites are robust, maintainable, and easily added to.
  Basic Qualifications
  • • • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
      • 3+ years professional experience in software or web development
      • Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, and problem solving
      • Experience using modern web development technologies and techniques, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Responsive Design, web services, etc.

      Preferred Qualifications
      

      • Experience building large-scale web applications
      • 5+ years professional experience in software or web development
      • Experience developing AJAX interfaces with AJAX libraries and frameworks (e.g. ReactJS, JQuery, AngularJS, etc.)
      • Experience with MVC frameworks, Spring desired
      • Understanding of web services technologies such as REST, SOAP, HTTP, JSON
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment and to learn new frameworks/stacks
        
      • Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency, and drive
      • Passion for building a rich and innovative user experience
