Agile Scrum Master

In this Scrum Master role, you will be part of a cross-functional Product and Service Development teams that delivers new capabilities to both commercial airlines and their passengers. Your primary areas of responsibility will be related to: ensuring that Scrum processes are followed so that the Scrum team delivers maximum value to the product owner, removing external blockers so the team can focus on the sprint goal(s), work with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is groomed appropriately to deliver customer value, facilitate the coordination among multiple teams, and coach the Scrum teams on Agile processes.

As part of an evolving and fast growing business area, you will work in a dynamic Agile/Scrum development environment across numerous geographical locations. Given these dynamics, attributes like learning agility, emotional intelligence, building organizational relationships, accountability, influencing and persuading others are also considered key job responsibilities.

2+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master in a mature Agile organization with well-defined Scrum processes

In-depth understanding of Agile and Scrum concepts, with the ability to articulate them

Experience with working as part of a cross-functional team across multiple geographical locations

Can champion new Agile processes across the organization

Can guide the teams in filling up the gaps left in the Scrum Framework

Ability to facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution within Scrum teams

Experience applying software quality processes in an Agile environment

Demonstrable experience working under aggressive timelines with high expectations

Certified Scrum Master

Experience/Exposure to: Big Agile, Enterprise Agile, SAFE (Scaled Agile Framework), LeSS (Large Scale Scrum) or equivalent

Ability to identify emerging technological, resource and organizational needs as part of a growing business area

Ability to coach the teams to progressively higher levels of Scrum maturity at a sustainable pace

Comfortable with communicating to Program Management and other business stakeholders

Can thrive in a startup-like atmosphere

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

Bryan / College Station is home to Texas A&M University with its high academic emphasis and events for collegiate athletics including the largest football stadium in the conference.
