Agency Bookkeeper: Part time-Office or Home Based

If you know how to do bookkeeping for a small insurance agency and you would like to work 10 to 20 hours/week, my client wants to talk to you right away.

The client is located in Kirkland, WA with great views of Lake WA off their big office building deck. This role is a permanent part time agency bookkeeping role. They use EPIC for the agency management and billing system. 90% of all billing is direct bill, only 10% is agency bill. You will mainly be working with the carrier downloads to make sure that the producers are paid per their contracts and to resolve any discrepancies with billing between the insured and the Insurance Carriers. The agency uses a CPA for all quarterly and year end reports.

The hours are very flexible and you can work from home once you are trained. Note: you need to live in Western WA in case you are needed in the office. No out of state candidates will be considered. Pay will be hourly, W2, parking is paid for if you want to work in the office, or they can set you up with an EPIC system at home. Expect to work 10 to 20 hours/week depending on the time of the month and work load.

Candidates need to have experience doing insurance agency billing. These are the only people who will be considered for this role. Knowledge of EPIC is a huge plus! Other agency management systems are acceptable. Hourly wage and schedule is negotiable based on experience.

The client’s bookkeeper just moved out of state and he needs to hire a replacement ASAP.
