Aerospace Application Consultant (f/m)

PACE Aerospace (www.pace.de) has renowned international customers including Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Embraer, Lufthansa, Rolls-Royce, and many more.

We are currently expanding our operations in Seattle and are looking for an individual seeking to work in a challenging and agile environment and eager to contribute to the design of future airplane configuration. You will be working in a fast-paced aviation-driven team on-site of a global aviation company as an application consultant supporting the roll-out of the PACE toolset.

Responsibilities

  • Be on site consultant and point of contact for PACE products and drive operational use of our products, with focus on Pacelab Cabin and Pacelab Data Management
  • Provide expert-level support and advice to customer
  • Support process impact analysis and re-design of existing processes and workflows
  • Understand legacy applications, requirements and business process of different organizations to determine the best way for the customer to move forward with our products.
  • Articulate and document the end-user requirements and proposed solutions to clarify and control expectations and achieve user acceptance of the application. Utilize effective oral and written communication skills to facilitate discussions and decision making
  • Support design interfaces to up- and downstream applications with focus on existing Pacelab Data Management platform
  • Identify, develop, and utilizes appropriate platforms to solicit input, manage application gaps with the customer and provide feedback to the product management to drive the product roadmap
  • Use your strong background in computer scienceor a related field to help designing, documenting and promoting requirements for future developments.
  • Resolve customer concerns raised during evaluation and operation. Own and manage identified software issues
  • Perform presentations for new user groups
  • Prepare and deliver user trainings
  • Help to set up and configure our products ideally in the customer environment

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in engineering, computer science, or similar field
  • 5-10 years experience as software consultant in complex environments
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and with diverse groups and challenging clients
  • Experience in aviation industry and PLM systems is a plus
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • strong business analysis skills
  • fast learner with excellent communication skills and customer service oriented spirit – as you work on-site with one of our most valuable customers
  • motivated and capable of working under your own steam, by taking ownership of new tasks and projects
  • Must be willing to travel 2-3 times per year to Europe
  • valid US-work permit
