SPECIAL Preference: Administrative Experience at a professional level (non-clerical equivalent to an administrative Assistant II in areas such as human Resources, purchasing, accounting, payroll, supervision, strategic planning support, and office administration.

Job Summary: Provide administrative support to the Program Manager and Assistant Program Manager in Region 1. Responsible for report writing, research, tracking assignments, documents and correspondence development and coordination; receives and analyses assignments from various sources. This position assists the managers with the coordination of personnel actions, RXs and from time to time serves on workgroups and committees .

KNOWLEDGE OF: principles of administration and management of personnel rules; of DES, DERS, RSA policies and procedures. Knowledge of procurement rules. Knowledge personnel rules.

SKILL IN: document and correspondence development; proofreading and editing complex documents; Projects management and control skills; Interpersonal skills; Skills in oral and written communication.

ABILITY TO: analyze and prioritize assignments; work independently, adapt to changing priorities. Ability to operate personal computers. Ability to make decisions.
