Admin Assistant 2

Under general supervision, performs a wide range of office administration duties for assigned functions or program areas, duties may be complex in nature and may involve access to confidential information. May research, investigate, and/or resolve program data or issues. Drafts documentation, reports, or presentations. Represents program or unit, provides information and assistance to internal and external customers. Provides administrative support to assigned area. Provides assistance and problem resolution to claimants, employers, staff, other agencies, and/or the general public. Provides program, administrative, and/or technical assistance and interpretation Researches and resolves detailed program or client issues/questions and prepares documents. Provides program, administrative, and/or technical assistance to customers and staff Researches and/or resolves program or client issues or questions May represent the manager in various matters. Supports routine administrative functions for the agency/office, such as travel expenses, car rentals, leases, vendors, contracts, telecommunications, building security, purchasing, billing/credit, inventory, property control, personnel, payroll, and etc.

Responsibilities:
Primary duties include performing a wide range of office administration tasks to support the investigative staff in the State Inspector General’s office. This includes, but is not limited to, drafting documents, data entry, case management, procurement activities, and providing other support related tasks.



Additional Information:
Organization and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, under minimal supervision, are essential. Previous administrative experience must be documented in resume, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). A high level of professionalism and confidentiality are crucial. A typical work schedule consists of four, 10 hour days but is subject to change. Anticipated start date is July 2, 2018. Interviews will be held the week of May 21, 2018.

Qualifications:
Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university AND One year of related experience OR Three years of related experience.
