ActionScript Developer

Multimedia Plus (MMP) is a creatively-driven tech company that develops mobile associate communications solutions for the world’s leading retail brands. Our product, INCITE, is an app-based solution that delivers interactive communications and training across devices – desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone. Our client list includes Victoria’s Secret, David’s Bridal, Tiffany & Co., francesca’s, kate spade, and Samsonite, to name a few.

We are currently seeking an ActionScript Developer.

What you need:

• At least 4 full years professional work experience programming applications with ActionScript 3

• Must have extensive knowledge of AS3, Object-Oriented Programming, Event-Driven Programming, Model-View-Controller Architectures, and XML/JSON data formats

• Strong understanding of AS3 using Flash or Flex, and experience with Flash Builder, Eclipse, or comparable IDEs

• Experience with technical and coding aspects of Rich Internet Applications, Macromedia Flash, HTML5, JavaScript, etc. required

• Experience with Backend/External System Integration a plus

• Experience with version control systems a plus

• Experience with User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and an understanding of good design principles/ability to adhere to design specifications a plus

• Experience with cross-platform development (Windows, Mac, iOS, Android) and related development environments (Visual Studio, XCode) and delivery methods (custom installers, App Store distribution) a plus

• Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate and scope development work

• Strong attention to detail

• Strong written & oral communications
