Accounting Manager

Friendship Shelter, a non-profit organization with administrative offices in Laguna Beach, CA, is searching for an Accounting Manager to join our administrative staff. Friendship Shelter helps homeless adults achieve self-sufficiency and become more productive members of our community.

We work with a wide variety of people, from those who are newly or situationally homeless to chronically homeless people who have been on the streets for years. Our administrative offices are co-located with one of our shelter programs, and all administrative employees enjoy daily interaction with our clients.

PRIMARY FUNCTION of the ACCOUNTING MANAGER: The Accounting Manager is responsible for the accounting, audit and tax, government billing, collections, budgeting, and other related financial functions of FSI. Working with and under the direction of the Director of Finance, he/she is a steward of the financial assets and resources of FSI in support of the organization’s mission, plans, and operation.
