Accounting Associate

Maxxis International-USA, a leader in the high performance tire industry, has an exciting opportunity for an entry-level Accounting Associate for our Accounting Department in Suwanee, GA. Responsibilities include:

• Matching A/P invoices to payment proposal list & distribute checks
• Reviewing and Posting of vendor invoices along with resolving discrepancies
• Posting outbound Electronic Funds Transfer payments and clearing open vendor accounts
• Scanning, archiving, and filing vendor A/P payments, invoices and W-9s
• Maintaining files and documentation accurately in accordance with company policy
• Assisting with month end closing and special projects

Key Competencies:

• Reliable and timely
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Detail oriented
• Dependable team player

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Less than 3 years of accounting experience preferred
• Accounts payable experience preferred
• Experience working with SAP preferred
