Responsible for data entry of Accounts Payable vouchers, as well as file maintenance for all paper and digital accounting records, including: edit reports, journal postings, financial reports, accounts payable and employee reimbursements. Also performs various other accounting/bookkeeping related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree (or equivalent), preferably in business administration or accounting. Experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting helpful. Familiarity with government cost accounting and FAR desirable.
  • Deltek Costpoint and Time and Expense experience highly desirable but not required. Experience with MS Office suite also preferred but not required.
  • Must have excellent communications skills both written and oral. Must have excellent problem solving capabilities. Must possess excellent analytical skills. Attention to detail, persistent follow up, and dependability required.
  • Must be a citizen of the United States, able to obtain and maintain an interim secret clearance leading to a top secret clearance and suitability for DHS.
  • Participation in the Immunization Program through Corporate Occupational Health Solutions, LLC (CorpOHS) and/or enrollment in the Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) may be required, dependent upon business needs.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs data entry for all Accounts Payable vouchers, including PO, AP and Time & Expense vouchers.
  • Provides Expense Report assistance to BNBI employees as needed.
  • Assists with execution of weekly timesheet processes required by parent company.
  • Maintains files/paper records of financial transactions of BNBI, including: timesheets, client invoices, edit reports, check copies, accounts payable invoices and employee reimbursements.
  • Works closely with Subcontracts Officers to resolve PO invoice variances before data entry that will sometimes require assistance from Accounting Specialist for new issues.
  • Assists Finance & Accounting Manager with finance related tasks.
  • Responds to incoming phone calls from vendors regarding status of open payables and employees regarding status of expense reimbursements.
  • May be required to participate in NBACC’s alternative work schedule and/or on-call schedule, dependent upon business needs.
  • Maintains appropriate records.
  • Performs other assigned duties.
