Accountant (Upward Mobility Target Title)

Under general supervision of the Field Auditor, utilizes professional accounting and auditing principles, methods, and techniques in conducting field audits and desk reviews of private agencies within assigned areas throughout the state and in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, with courses in business administration and accounting or four years of technical accounting experience; preferably requires a minimum of nine semester hours of courses in accounting; requires possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
