Accountant I

Performs a broad scope of professional accounting activities requiring experienced, professional knowledge and application of accounting principles and practices.

Additional Department Summary:
The Accountant I manages the construction project accounting process including in-depth review and analysis of all assigned projects, reporting and conducting research as necessary while working with a variety of stakeholders and customers.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting or Finance and at least one (1) year accounting related experience; OR a CPA and some professional accounting experience.

Skills and Knowledge:
Proficiency in working with personal computers and standard application software.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer previous professional accounting experience in cost accounting or in the practice or audit of construction accounting.
