Accountant/Bookkeeper for growing QSR

Growing quick service restaurant chain is looking for a seasoned accountant/bookkeeper. This position will primarily be responsible for the timely and accurate production of: balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Furthermore, the position will report organization’s finances to management, and offers suggestions about resource utilization, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage and reconcile cash accounts daily

Prepare weekly receivable and payable reports

Manage cash flow from multiple bank accounts

Manage general ledger

Investigate and resolve inquiries

Prepare weekly payments to all vendors

Manage NYS Tax documents

Update, file, and maintain various paperwork and records

Requirements

BA in Finance or Accounting and minimum 5 years accounting experience

Experience preparing multi location financial statements and month-end close cycle

Excellent Miscrosoft Office knowledge – Word, Excel

Experience with accounting software, especially Quickbooks, Choubox, Square

Excellent money handling skills

Great attitude & team player

Ability to multitask and works well under pressure

Detail oriented, quick thinking, and well organized

Eager to help take brand to new levels by automating and creating solid systems
